there was a fic where Stiles is introducing his dad to Danny as his boyfriend for the first time, and instead of being like, “Oh, awesome, Danny’s a great kid,” Papa Stilinski is like, “You’re hard enough to keep on the straight and narrow as it is, the hell you’re dating someone with a criminal record who uses fake IDs.” (Because if Stiles knows about Danny’s record, who do we think he stole that file from?)
And there’s some woe and miscommunication because Stiles takes the disapproval hard, and his dad says it’s not about him dating a boy, but then again, his dad also told him he couldn’t be gay because of the way he dressed. And Papa Stilinski is being really firm about this because jfc, Stiles already had a classmate file a restraining order against him, he knows Stiles is often up to no good, and for all Stiles has always been super curious and gotten in trouble, he remembers back when jokes about Stiles being a delinquent were actually jokes.
(Presumably, Danny is just sort of wandering around in a daze somewhere going, “But I’m Danny. Everyone likes me.”)
And then, idk, eventually the Stilinskis hug it out, and Papa Stilinski grudgingly allows that Danny made a youthful mistake and doesn’t get in trouble anymore, and there are Danny/Stiles smooches or something.
#This needs to happen #it needs to be a thing that exists #Papa Stilinski will complain that Stiles should find someone more appropriate#someone mature enough to not break the law and use a fake ID #and Stiles is a smartass so he’ll say something like — WOULD YOU RATHER I DATE DEREK HALE? HE DOESN’T USE A FAKE ID #And his dad would splutter and be all shocked because let’s face it — Derek would be almost his worst nightmare #so he can maybe concede that Danny isn’t so bad #And I want to see Jackson get all pissy on Danny’s behalf and bitch at the Sheriff for not approving of Danny and Stiles #Of course the Sheriff would be confused because doesn’t Jackson hate Stiles? #Jackson would roll his eyes because duh…of course he hates Stiles #But Danny is a fucking catch and Jackson is deeply offended that anyone would disapprove of Danny #So he’s totally fighting the Sheriff’s opinion because Stiles would be fucking LUCKY to land Danny #And Jackson can’t understand why Stiles’ dad isn’t embracing Danny with open arms #Because he doesn’t think Stiles could ever do better so clearly the Sheriff should agree (via slythatheart)

#this is kind of terrifying tho #b/c we saw in previous episodes how absolute naomi’s control of castiel was #when she ordered him to kill samandriel he didn’t hesitate for an instant #but even with that kind of influence she still had to make him kill ‘dean’ a thousand times over before she declared him ready #is this what he was doing for the entire span of time between 8.10 and 8.17?? #i wonder how many attempts it took before he could actually make himself do it #how many times before he could stab dean in the heart and not want to throw up afterwards #how many times before he could do it without hesitating #and even under that amount of conditioning when it comes to the real thing he STILL can’t go through with it #castiel loves selfishly and possessively and destructively but he also loves absolutely #it’s the only way he knows how #and the full force of that love is focused on one single fragile insignifcant human being #dean should be terrified
